December Support Group Meeting

Join us on December 3, 2013, to learn about Social Skills Development with guest speaker Noriko Abenojar, MSW, PPS. The presentation and Q&A (7-8:30 p.m.) will be followed by networking time (8:30-9:00).


Social skills and relationships can be a challenge for people with ADHD. This presentation will address topics such as resiliency, protective factors, conflict resolution, and what parents can do to help their child develop stronger social skills.


This presentation will be of particular interest to parents of children with ADHD, but adults with ADHD and spouses/partners of people with ADHD are also encouraged to attend, bring questions, and find support!


Noriko Abenojar, MSW, PPS, is the owner and director of the Social and Cognitive Learning Center (SCLC) in Davis, CA. She has been providing social skills coaching for children and adults through her center for the last 5 years. Prior to opening SCLC, Noriko worked with toddler and their parents in an adult participation preschool program, with school-aged children in public schools as a school social worker, with teens and adults in a community mental health clinic, and with adults with developmental disabilities in residential and vocational programs.
