A quick update about the meeting on Tuesday, 2/3: we will still have two groups, one for families of children with ADHD and one for adults with ADHD and/or their partners.
We will also have a special guest facilitator from the MIND Institute in the adult group, who, if there is interest, will speak and answer questions specifically about ADHD in women and girls. If this area is of interest to you, be sure to attend on Tuesday!
CHADD of Greater Sacramento’s next monthly support group meeting will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015, from 7-9 p.m. The February meeting will feature small discussion groups (7-8:30) for:
- adults with ADHD and family, spouses or partners of adults with ADHD
- families of children with ADHD
Bring your thoughts and questions about issues related to living with ADHD, including school and work questions, time management and organizational skills, relationships, healthier living, and more. ADHD impacts many areas of life; finding a supportive group of people who “get it” can make a real difference!
The group time will be followed by networking time (8:30-9).
Meetings are free and open to the public. A $5 donation is requested if you are not a CHADD member, but no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
CHADD of Greater Sacramento support group meetings are held at the UC Davis Medical Center MIND Institute, 2825 50th Street, Sacramento, CA 95817. Get directions.
