CHADD of Greater Sacramento’s next monthly support group meeting will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015, from 7-9 p.m. The meeting will feature a discussion of ADHD treatments with guest speaker, James Margolis, M.D. (7-8:30), followed by networking time (8:30-9).
Dr. Margolis will be answering your questions about various approaches to managing ADHD, including issues such as medications, non-pharmaceutical approaches, and ADHD in school and the workplace.
Dr. Margolis is a psychiatrist with over 40 years treating people with ADHD, primarily children, and has been active with CHADD of Greater Sacramento since its start in the 1980s. He is a Honorary Retired Physician with Sutter Medical Center, past Chief of Staff and Director of Sutter Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and former Medical Direct of the Sutter Counseling Center.
Meetings are free and open to the public. A $5 donation is requested if you are not a CHADD member, but no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
