March 2016 Support Group Meeting

CHADD of Greater Sacramento’s March support group meeting will be a presentation by staff from Disability Rights California (DRC) on Educational Rights of Students with ADHD.

If you have children with ADHD, or are a student with ADHD, you will want to attend this presentation! Questions will also be taken about the rights of employees with ADHD in the workplace.

This meeting will feature an overview and Q&A about educational rights for students with ADHD, with Andrew Mudryk, Deputy Director of the Sacramento office of DRC, and Taymour Ravandi, staff attorney at DRC.

The speakers will provide information on Section 504 plans and IEPs for youth with ADHD, including a discussion of the benefits of each and potential accommodations and services appropriate for students with ADHD. They will also be available to answer questions.
